The GW Vibes

The GW Vibes are a student-run co-ed a cappella group at The George Washington University. Founded in 1999 by Alissa Roeder and Bess Paupeck, the Vibes’s repertoire covers a range of musical styles and eras, from 1960s R&B to today’s indie rock.  Keep up with the Vibes on Twitter and Facebook, and make sure to show us some love by using #vibeslove.

The GW Vibes performed at the White House for the  2014 holiday season

The members of the Vibes perform often around campus, in the White House, throughout D.C. and beyond. More than just a bad-ass a cappella group, The GW Vibes are a big family that always aim to entertain – and have a great time doing it. So, feel free to explore the website, listen to samples of what we do and get to know the members of our group who have been “Giving the GW community aural pleasure since 1999.”
